For now, Carlos Rengifo settles for amaze his social media followers and anyone lucky enough to catch a personal glimpse of him in his native Venezuela.

The 27-year-old has been practicing the life-threatening stunts for 11 years now without a shred of worry.

Any fear that exists is immediately suppressed – nothing stands in the way of achieving its ultimate goal.

“Anxiety is like positive energy, it is equal to your dreams, the thing you are looking for that you want,” Rengifo recently shared. Univision. “Negative energy, let’s say about fear, is what paralyzes you.”

Rengifo began performing stunts on the streets of the Venezuelan capital of Caracas as a teenager before graduating to much greater heights that would sink the heart of any ordinary person.

His Instagram account has viral videos of him doing a backflip on the edge of a building still under construction. He shows off his inner Spider-Man abilities by scaling up and down the side of a residential building.

Before Christmas in 2022, he treated his followers to a short clip of him walking slowly along the edge of another building under construction. He stopped at the corner and leaned forward, watching the busy city road, lined with trees with a sea of ​​buildings on the horizon.

A follower doubted whether the images were real.

“It’s edited, it’s not real,” they wrote.

Another user chimed in, “What it’s like to have no value and appreciation for life.”

Free from the restraints of any security equipment, the Venezuelan has pulled some tricks at Caracas’ Torre Parque Central, a complex of residential, commercial and cultural developments.

Other stunts have been successfully performed at the Torre David, an unfinished skyscraper.

In the end, everything is possible, says Rengifo, because practice makes perfect.

“There’s no time to think up there because you have to train for a month or two to get it done,” he explained. “But when you arrive at the indicated place at 60 floors, 100 floors, whatever, you have to think about what you’re going to do, because when you arrive and think, you freeze.”
