The Conners star Sara Gilbert, 49, shows off her unique style during a solo outing in LA
Sara Gilbert was spotted casually walking the streets of Los Angeles while shopping on Saturday.
The 49-year-old The Conners actress – who protested alongside her former co-stars during the actors’ strike last May – showed off her unique style during the casual outing.
She opted for a red and gray plaid button-up partially tucked into a pair of slightly ripped straight-leg jeans.
Her short dark locks were tucked behind her ears as she accessorized with glasses and black boots.
The former co-host of The Talk looked focused as she carried her phone and a paper bag in her left hand.

The Yale University graduate began her acting career at the age of thirteen when she landed a Kool-Aid commercial for children, which subsequently led to her earning a role on the hit sitcom Roseanne starring comedian Rosanne Barr.
She has also found work on The Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory, Will & Grace and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Gilbert served as executive producer and co-host of CBS’ The Talk, which debuted on October 18, 2010 and was recently canceled.
In her capacity as the show’s creator and producer, Gilbert took home a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show in 2016 before cutting ties with the program in August 2019.
‘It was funny because I’m not really, I was always very shy. And I came up with this idea for a talk show,’ she told Kelly Clarkson of creating the hit show.
She continued about the show’s pitch: “I went to the network and said, ‘I’m afraid you guys are going to buy this because I’m not sure how I feel about it.'”
Gilbert admitted that the process was scary for her as she continued planning the talk show.
“You know when you face your fears, and you know when you face them, it’s going to build up steam? That’s what happened,” she revealed.
She thought, ‘Oh, I’m really here.’
“But it’s liberating, right? When you actually face your fears. It’s empowering,” she added.
When asked about her shyness, the prolific star admitted that as an actress she had ‘hid it well for years’.
The mother of three dated her Roseanne co-star Johnny Galecki before coming out as a lesbian, but the two still remain friends.
Gilbert began dating television producer Ali Adler in 2001 and shared two children, Sawyer Jane, 16, born to Gilbert and Levi Hank, 19, a son of Adler.
She has refrained from revealing her sexual orientation and her personal life to the world for quite some time.
The star came out as a lesbian in July 2010, just before the premiere of The Talk. And in 2011, she revealed that they amicably split on the show.

In April 2013, Gilbert announced their engagement and married almost exactly a year later.
The actress gave birth to their son, Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry, just two years later.
However, it wasn’t meant to be like this for the couple as they filed for formal divorce on December 27, 2019.
