The Chase star Jenny Ryan look worlds away from The Vixen in a rainbow sequined dress as she steps out for the O2 Silver Clef Awards

Jenny Ryan looked a world away from her on-screen alter ego, The Vixen, as she wore a rainbow sequinned dress to the Silver Clef Awards in London.

The 42-year-old Chase star was among the guests at the festive ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Friday for the Nordoff and Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards.

At the event, a prestigious annual event organised by Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy organisation, Jenny seemed a far cry from her super-serious, quizzing personality.

Jenny arrived at the awards ceremony in an animal print wrap dress with rainbow sequins, which featured a plunging neckline.

She teamed the look with sheer black tights and chunky lace-up boots, and wore her signature copper-colored locks down to her shoulders.

Jenny was joined on the red carpet by artist Thomas Wolski and the pair made peace gestures as they posed for photos.

Since 1976, the Silver Clef Awards have raised almost £13 million for transformative music therapy for children and adults in the UK.

Jenny revealed in April that she felt “vulnerable and anxious” after being robbed.

She fell victim to a cruel scam after a man knocked on her door asking for access to her apartment because of a leak.

He promised to be there for only a few minutes to take some photos, but instead the man entered Jenny’s bedroom and stole her cell phone and some sentimental jewelry.

Jenny told presenters Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton about the ordeal during Morning Live.

The star was visibly shaken by the incident and admitted she felt “stupid” for letting him into her apartment in the first place, receiving little support from police.

Describing how the scammer entered her apartment, she began: ‘It was a normal morning and the doorbell rang and someone was let into my apartment building.

“He knocked on the door and told me the building manager was on his way. There was a leak and it was related to the new kitchen. We just had a new kitchen put in. The landlord just put it in.”

The star then explained that the man told him to take some photos of the leak and that it would only take a few minutes.

‘Maybe I was a little hesitant about it. But I thought, “We’ve had so many people, it’s a quick job, go ahead, I’ll let him in.”

‘Unfortunately, he had bad intentions and entered my bedroom with the door closed. When he left, I realized that he had taken my cell phone and three pieces of jewelry that my parents gave me for special occasions and that are irreplaceable.’

Jenny immediately went to find her phone to call her landlord and ask if the man had come by yet. But her phone was gone.

While Helen was showing her support for Jenny, she asked her how she felt after the incident. Jenny admitted, “I still feel really stupid now.”

“I feel naive that I let this happen. I know I shouldn’t blame myself too much because this was a very cunning scam.”
