Chase fans went wild for a hilarious “decorative buttons” question during Thursday’s episode with viewers calling the moment “iconic.”
The show saw contestants Nesta, David and Reece work together to build up their prize money.
And while taking on The Sinnerman Paul Sinha, presenter Bradley Walsh asked Reece: ‘What is a finial in ceramics?’
Without hesitation, the contestant cheekily joked, “I know a lot about decorative buttons,” before bursting into laughter.
Both Bradley and Paul struggled to keep it together as Reece continued: ‘I have no idea but when I go home I would like it on a decorative knob.’

Bradley took Reece aside and joked, “Don’t come here and ruin my show!”

It comes after a contestant on The Chase made history, prompting Mark Labbett to admit: ‘I don’t think we’ve ever had this before.’
Four new hopefuls named Ange, Ben, Dan and Ellen took on Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, 58, on Sunday’s episode of the game show.

Ben, Dan and Ellen all competed against each other, and they all needed one more question to get home, with The Beast one step behind.
This scenario was dubbed ‘the one questions shootout’ by fellow Chaser Shaun Wallace, and the name caught on.
When it came time to face the Chaser, Ange quickly found herself in the same position as her teammates.
After getting her penultimate question correct, with The Beast still one behind, an incredulous Bradley Walsh asked The Chaser: Four shootouts with one question, right?
The Beast replied, “I don’t think we’ve ever had this before.”
Unfortunately, Ange fell at the final hurdle and her three teammates had to do the Final Chase without her.
The team had raised £16,000 and completed 17 steps before it was time for The Beast.
Despite getting three questions wrong, The Beast still caught the group with 16 seconds to spare.
If a Chaser answers a question incorrectly, the team has the opportunity to answer it and discussion can take place.
If they get the question right, the Chaser is pushed back one step, meaning if they answered five questions correctly at that point, it would become four.
Because The Beast got three questions wrong, the team had three chances to answer a question correctly and push him back, but only executed once.

The finalists achieved £3,000, £6,000 and £7,000 respectively, with Ellen earning the lowest and Dan the highest.
The ITV game show has been running since 2009 and has been hosted by Bradley throughout its tenure.
It features a total of six Chasers: Mark Labbett, Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha, Darragh Ennis and Shaun Wallace.
The program has spawned The Chase: Celebrity Special, The Family Chase and Beat The Chasers, as well as international remakes.
