The Chase and Tipping Point are pulled from air ALL WEEK in ITV shake-up

The chase and tipping point are taken off the air ALL WEEK as ITV is hit with a dramatic schedule shakeup

The Chase and Tipping Point have been hit by a huge ITV shake-up as they are taken off the air for the rest of this week.

The two shows have been afternoon programs for the channel for many years but have unfortunately been taken off the schedule and replaced by coverage from the Royal Ascot Festival.

Tipping Point, hosted by Ben Shephard, usually starts at 4pm and sees four contestants compete to win a £10,000 prize by dropping chips into the tipping machine.

The Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh, follows soon after and sees contestants compete against serial quizzers to win a huge cash prize.

Instead, coverage of Royal Ascot will air from 1:30pm to 6pm Tuesday (June 20) to Saturday (June 24).

Fortunately, viewers won’t have to wait long for the next episodes of their favorite game shows, with a celebrity special of The Chase airing Saturday.

Meanwhile, Tipping Point returns to its usual slot on Monday, June 26.

It comes after fans of The Chase were utterly stunned by a contestant’s fluke answer, which netted him £1,000 in the Cash Builder round.

Contestant Fintan joined the host in the studio and competed against Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett to take home the cash prize.

But in a first for the show, Bradley was stunned when ‘jammy’ Fintan accidentally managed to answer a question correctly.

When he took the stage, the player was hoping to take home a whopping £50,000 and a place in the final, but was forced to pass when he couldn’t answer.

Bradley had asked, “What word would come before code, phrase, and word in computer security?”

Fintan couldn’t answer and replied, “Pass.”

‘Correct! It happened, it really happened,” Bradley said in shock.

He added: ‘It happened. The word pass is an answer. You’re so yum!’

Unfortunately, his luck ended there as Fintan was finally boxed in after being caught by The Beast.

Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm and The Chase airs at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
