Baldur’s Gate 3 has been out for over a year, but interest in the game is still high, especially as Larian Studios continues to add big, meaty patches to the game. The cast also still has countless stories to share about their experiences with the game.
At this year’s New York Comic Con, Baldur’s Gate 3 cast members Neil Newbon (hedonistic vampire elf Astarion), Devora Wilde (spiky githyanki fighter Lae’zel) and Jennifer English (gloomy dark cleric Shadowheart), as well as motion-capture director Aliona Baranova (who also voices Corinna the squirrel) took names the stage. The quartet talked about working on the game, seeing the fans’ reaction and their own playing time Baldur’s Gate 3.
“Myself,” Wilde replied without hesitation.
“On my (Twitch) channel we call that ‘As-turbation,’” added Newbon, who also romanticizes his own character.
English, who plays the game in co-op with her friend Baranova, had a more nuanced answer.
“In our playthrough, I romance you (Lae’zel),” English told Wilde. “One time we called Dev right after Lae’zel’s romance scene. And I just said ‘Dev! We just had that sex!'”
However, English’s romantic choice for her solo playthrough was more in line with that of her co-stars.
“I am Also romanticizing myself,” she revealed.
What can we say? They have good taste in characters.
