The Block’s Tom Calleja blasts ‘negative’ co-stars Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra – and says he has no intention of befriending the pair after the show ends
Tom Calleja of The Block didn’t hesitate to give his opinion on co-star Blockheads Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra.
The 34-year-old tradie says he has no interest in making friends with the controversial contestants in Nine’s reality hit after Sunday’s final.
“Nobody wants to hang out with negativity, right?” he told the Herald sun.

Tom made the comments while attending Derby Day in Flemington last Monday with his partner Sarah-Jane Wilson, 30.
“I’ve taken friends off the show—Ryan and Rachel, Dylan and Jenny—Sharon and Ankur, I’m not in touch with them, so why should I pursue friendship with them?” he continued.
Meanwhile, Sarah-Jane said she wanted everyone to do well when the five new renovations in rural Gisborne go under the hammer on Saturday.
“I saw Sharon a few days ago and it was super chill,” she told the publication.

“They just didn’t have the same experience as us, it was that simple – they just didn’t seem to have it” [enjoy the show] — and we did,” she added.
It comes after Sharon, 34, and Ankur, 41, were trolled on social media for alleged mistakes during the show’s run this year.
The controversial pair often clashed with their trader Scotty and builder Liam throughout the season, with both sides accusing the other of failing to track their weight.

A battle of words between the pair and the judges only escalated on-screen tensions. Sharon and Ankur were less than impressed with the feedback they received during the reveals outside.
Judges Darren Palmer, Neale Whitaker and Shaynna Blaze criticized the location of the pool and outdoor dining area.
After listening to their expert comments, Ankur said, “No disrespect to the judges, but I don’t really care what they say… the house will sell itself anyway.”
“You may save and smoke your comments,” Sharon added.
