Internet users have said that the new Channel 7 program is very similar to the popular reality show The Block – which also sees couples compete for the title of best home renovator.
Speak against Yahoo lifestyle on the rival series, The Block host Scott Cam joked that Chris should stay at his job.
“Stay off my property, Browny!” he said before adding, “Chris is a great friend of mine and good luck to him.”

“The competition is healthy and if his show is doing well, that means people are still interested in this style of television.
“Once they stop watching other shows or our show, that’s the end of that style.”
Chris recently joined Channel 7 in a million-dollar deal after leaving Channel 10, and he’d been rumored to host a Block-style show for a while.
