The Block’s Sarah-Jane Wilson reveals her shocking career turnaround after she and husband Tom lost thousands after their disastrous auction during the show’s finale.
The Block star Sarah-Jane Wilson has revealed her next career move.
On Thursday, the mother-of-one announced that she will host a weekly cooking show on social media.
During her first episode, she made easy-to-cook tacos for her husband Tom.

“If I wanted to cook, I would have been a chef, but I need to keep my family alive, so when I cook it’s really simple,” she joked to her fans.
Sarah-Jane then took viewers through the preparation process as she cooked the ground beef, shredded the lettuce and added the finishing touches to her tasty dish.
She joked to her husband, Tom, that he was delighted with his new hobby as it “means he’ll be fed at least once a week.”
The social worker then presented the finished tacos to Tom and asked what he thought of them.
The Block star shared the first episode on Instagram in which she explained that she’s not a professional chef, so she’ll be making easy-to-cook tacos for her husband Tom.
“I love your taco,” Tom replied with a cheeky smile on his face before Sarah-Jane told him to be serious and admitted they were delicious.
It comes after Tom and Sarah-Jane revealed they were living in a trailer park after The Block’s auctions in November.
Earlier this month, Sarah-Jane gave fans a tour of her new mobile home, complete with Kmart furniture, after giving it a complete makeover.
She explained how her husband had installed a ceiling fan, fireplace, furniture, and a dart board to make the temporary quarters more attractive.

During The Block finale, their Gisborne home had a reserve price of $4.08 million and sold for $4.1 million, meaning they walked away with just $20,000 for their efforts.
The couple told fans on Instagram that the disappointing result meant they would have to sell their Ford ute to make ends meet.
Fortunately, they managed to find the silver lining and said, “We had the experience of a lifetime and it’s something we can tell our grandchildren about.”
Sarah-Jane admitted in an interview with Nine they had spent a lot of money financing their stint at The Block, so they were now in the red.
