And now The Block’s Mitch and Mark have stepped forward to defend the 69-year-old TV veteran from the haters.

Fan favorites posted on Instagram on Friday a touching tribute to Kerri-Anne who left the South African jungle after accepting a six-figure pay package.

Mitch and Mark described Kerri-Anne as a “new friend” and revealed that Kerri-Anne feels “bruised” after being described as a “diva” for her behavior on the hit show.

“Please don’t judge or hit any person based on a few minutes of a much longer situation,” the beloved reality stars posted.

Mitch and Mark called Kerri-Anne an “incredible lady” and continued by saying that when it comes to reality TV, there’s always more than one perspective.

“Just because we can all judge doesn’t mean we have the right to judge,” they said in their post, continuing, “Compassion and humanity are more important. Freedom of expression is valuable, as is the realization that words can hurt and damage another.’
