The Block star Kylie Baker is said to be extremely angry about her ‘villain edit’ in the latest series of the Channel Nine renovation show.
The 37-year-old hairdresser is reportedly ‘totally panicking’ after seeing her controversial TV montage, says a close friend of hers Yahoo lifestyle.
“We can see that Kylie is being stupid and a bit overdramatic, but somehow it comes across to the viewer as if she is bullying people and being ungrateful,” they began.
“She’s a very giving person and I think she was reading who she thought the producers wanted her to be. That can be quite dangerous if you then let someone else tell your story.’
Kylie and her partner Brad have been dubbed this year’s ‘villains’ due to some negative comments they made about their construction projects, and because they struggled to get along with their co-stars.
One of Kylie’s more shocking moments came when she openly criticized a co-star’s interior design skills, questioning whether they had bought a “furniture pack” of boring items.
The insider added that Kylie struggled with the way she was portrayed, as she signed up thinking she would be seen in a positive way.
‘She thinks she’s a monster. It’s like the producers took her sense of humor and turned it into something really nasty.”

“I think Kylie wants viewers to know that you’re only seeing a version of her personality.”
Ny Breaking Australia announced in September that Kylie and Brad would abruptly quit the Channel Nine series.
“Kylie had an absolute meltdown at the end of week 12 and stormed off the set,” an insider from the production team said.
“She flat-out refused to continue filming, and the couple didn’t even show up to finish their shared space in week 13.
“I have no idea how the producers are going to handle this on screen or how they are going to edit around it,” they continued.

It comes after another insider said some of Kylie and Brad’s fights were ‘a tad cringe-inducing’ and ‘immature’, with their attitudes towards each other raising alarms.
“They will find it quite awkward watching the show again because they really have a unique way of talking to each other,” the source said.
