Block winners Steph and Gian Ottavio announced their next career move after taking home a whopping $1.75 million in winnings from the show.

The childhood sweethearts, both 27, told the story Yahoo lifestyle they will be launching their own homeware brand called Japandi Estate.

Japandi is a unique home design aesthetic that combines both Japanese and Scandinavian styles and was used extensively in their beautiful winning property.

“It's bigger than just household items, it's also a lifestyle. Japanese and Scandinavian architecture are a lifestyle choice for me,” Steph said.

“We're going to educate people about what Japandi means to live that way. It's a whole company ethos.'

Gian added that their soon-to-be-launched business will help customers find stylish homewares that perfectly match their home decor.

“We're going to create a range of products and then actually educate consumers on where this product might fit and what type of color tones would be best in a room,” he said.

The couple already has one website for their company and the homepage informs visitors that it is “soon to be an exclusive home goods brand.”

Last month, the lovebirds took home the Block Australia crown when they sold their Hampton East home for $5 million and made $1.75 million in profits.

The childhood sweethearts later talked about the whirlwind season that included laughter, laughs and a shocking rollercoaster finale.

Speaking to Ny Breaking Australia, the Sydney couple also revealed their foolproof strategy to win Channel Nine's renovation series.

“When we got the call that we were on The Block in February, the first thing we did, I think three days later, was we called Tom Panos, our auctioneer,” they said.

“He was the first person we called and engaged, and people probably wouldn't think that. Why would you call an auctioneer when you find out you're on the Block?'

They continued, “For us, this was the end game. A lot of thought has gone into that. The team at Ray White Sunbury is exceptional.”

This year, Steph and Gian broke the record winnings by selling their Charming St home for $1.65 million above reserve, receiving an extra $100,000 for their win.
