Baby joy! The Block winner Ozman Abu Malik welcomes fourth son with wife Jasmin: ‘We couldn’t be happier’

Ozman ‘Oz’ Abu Malik of The Block made series history last year when he took home a record $1.6 million in profits on the property he built with his best friend Omar.

And on Monday, the maintenance manager, 32, revealed he had another reason to celebrate after his wife Jasmin recently gave birth to Ali, their fourth son.

‘We couldn’t be happier. He’s so special to me because Ali symbolizes my time on The Block,” he said women’s Day.

He added that his son may have been conceived during his appearance on the popular renovation show, giving his birth special significance.

“It could have been when Jasmin was visiting or just after filming ended. It really is a Block baby!’

He then said that he was thrilled that his young sons followed him and predicted that they might have a future in reality TV.

“They have a lot of self-confidence and I want them to have the best opportunities in life. So when something like The Block shows up when they come of age, I’m glad they do – it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”

Ozman and Jasmin are now the proud parents of four beautiful sons: Malik, eight, Zayd, six, Hunza, two, and baby Ali.

Best friends from Sydney created a five-bedroom, three-bedroom home with one of the main draws being its resort-style amenities, including a solar-heated swimming pool.

The property also featured a large multi-purpose court for tennis, basketball or football.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have won this year – we had a plan and stuck to it,” Ozman said at the time.
