The Block ‘villains’ Paige and Jesse sensationally quit the show after producers were forced to intervene during furious argument

Jesse Maguire and Paige Beechey have sensationally left The Block.

The duo, who were dubbed the “bad guys” this season, left Monday night after producers had to intervene.

The engaged couple were caught arguing off-camera, but their microphones were still on.

Paige questioned her relationship with Jesse, saying, “We don’t exist.”

She angrily added, “I don’t give a damn how you feel, you have to deal with it yourself,” and threatened to leave the show.

By 11:30 p.m. that night, their argument was so loud that it could be heard throughout the Block grounds.

At that point, executive producer Justin Sturzaker weighed in, noting that the couple had had heated arguments in the past.

“It seems like a relationship that’s getting pretty bad. Your neighbors can hear you, you know?” he told them.

Sturzaker then suggested that Paige and Jesse talk to the show’s psychologists.

“You don’t have to tell Jesse all your stuff. We have to get other people to talk to you, where you have to make a big decision,” he said.

The duo did so last weekend and announced on Monday that they had decided to leave the series.

Paige said the past week had been a “cry for help”, adding: “It was like a black hole in my head”.

Presenter Scott Cam wished the pair well, saying: “We think you should go somewhere far away from here where you can look after yourselves.”

Viewers have been critical of the couple since Paige went on a rude tirade during an episode last week.

In recent scenes she hit out at architect Julian Brenchley, telling him she ‘didn’t give a damn what he thought’, following a row over the placement of her bedroom with her partner Jesse.

It wasn’t long before fans of the show took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to criticize Paige for her TV antics, criticizing her “childish behavior.”

“Little Miss Princess Paige has never had anyone say no to her. Time to grow up, cupcake, and function in an adult world,” they wrote.

Another disgruntled viewer said: ‘Paige is a moody child. She really thinks people are rude (when they aren’t), stomps her feet on everything and has now smeared 2 sponsors. Not smart.’

The current series of The Block was filmed earlier this year on the popular tourist attraction Phillip Island in Victoria.
