Channel Nine’s The Block was the big winner in Monday night’s TV ratings battle.

The home renovation series pulled in an impressive 805,000 viewers in the overnight metro ratings.

Meanwhile, Have You Been Paying Attention? continues to give embattled Channel 10 something to smile about.

Channel Nine’s The Block was the big winner in Monday night’s TV ratings battle.  The home renovation series pulled in an impressive 805,000 viewers in the overnight metro ratings.

The panel show, where comedians are quizzed on the top news events of the week, managed 627,000 viewers in the metro ratings.   

Channel Seven’s My Kitchen Rules re-boot is gaining ground after a rocky start to its new season.

The cooking competition, hosted by celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Nigella Lawson, scored 513,000 fans on Monday night in the major centres.

This was a huge improvement after last Monday’s episode drew a paltry 408,000 viewers. 

Meanwhile, Have You Been Paying Attention? continues to give embattled Channel 10 something to smile about.  The panel show, where comedians are quizzed on the top news events of the week, managed 627,000 viewers in the metro ratings

Channel 10 had another winner with The Masked Singer.

526,000 tuned into watch Monday’s episode where Jamie Durie was revealed as the masked Tiger.

Meanwhile over at Channel Seven, Monday night’s episode of Home and Away won the biggest audience the network has seen in a long time.

The long-running soap scored 483,000 fans in the over night metro ratings.

Overall Channel Nine won the night in a tight contest, with 28.8 per cent of the audience share, with Channel Seven in second place on 25.7 per cent.

Channel 10 came in third with 19.7 per cent of the market, while the ABC managed 18.6 per cent. 

Meanwhile over at Channel Seven, Monday night’s episode of Home and Away won the biggest audience the network has seen in a long time
