The Block judge Neale Whitaker unveils huge career move after quitting the show

The Block judge Neale Whitaker has revealed his huge career move after quitting the renovation show earlier this year.

The beloved judge, 62, announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he had developed a range of tableware in collaboration with Gro Urban Oasis.

The NSW-based interior design expert said he was “delighted” to announce his range of crockery, crockery, cutlery, glassware and napery.

Neale shared photos of himself smiling as he set the table with chic green and white tableware.

‘Okay, so the word is now officially out! I’m happy to announce my kitchen and dining collaboration with Gro Urban Oasis,” he wrote in the caption of the post.

‘Two kitchen and dining collections – Everyday and Culinary – combine my love for food, design and good living.

‘I truly believe that good design should be accessible to everyone, every day.’

It comes as the much-loved judge on the hit renovation show confirmed he would no longer be a regular on the Channel Nine giant in May.

Whitaker took on a limited role as judge last year to support his partner David as he faced serious health problems.

“In 2023, as many of you will know, I took a break from The Block to spend more time with my partner David, who was dealing with serious health issues,” Whitaker announced on social media at the time.

“We were all hoping that I would be able to return to the show full-time this year, but life doesn’t always go according to schedule,” he continued.

‘David is getting stronger every month, but my decision remains to stay home as much as possible.’

Whittaker is expected to make guest appearances in the current season alongside judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and newcomer Marty Fox.

The couple, who have been together for more than twenty years, married in 2022.

In 2021, David proposed and posted a photo of himself and Neale before saying he was the “luckiest and happiest man in the world” to marry the TV star.
