The Block judge helps create $6m Christmas prize home on Queensland’s Gold Coast

The Block judge Darren Palmer has helped build a dazzling beachfront mansion on Queensland's Gold Coast.

The $6.18 million four-bedroom, three-bathroom Miami condo is being offered as a prize in the Your village Christmas lottery for children's charities.

Palmer, 45, collaborated with boutique designer and builder Jayson Pate to create the luxury three-level spread reports The Gold Coast Bulletin.

Completed this year, the lavish home known as 'Orilla' was built just meters from Miami Beach and features a stylish rooftop entertainment terrace with stunning views of the coastline, including Surfers Paradise.

Features include a sculpted garden with fire pit, and a ground floor retreat and dining patio.

Designed in 'Mediterranean style', the white facade has curved lines and features Caesarstone and Venetian plaster finishes.

The spacious living areas are now divided into a creative open space, with large windows, making the most of the seaside location.

Highlights include an outdoor dining area on the first floor next to the living room.

There is also an adjacent kitchen with a breakfast island for the whole family.

There is also a swimming pool, rumpus room and kitchenette on the top floor for the entertainment deck.

Palmer, who appeared on the drama-filled season of The Block, spent $3.85 million on a four-bedroom Byron Bay apartment last year.

Located just meters from Tallow Beach, the famous designer purchased the property together with his partner of 11 years, cosmetics businessman Olivier Duvillard.

It also features a family and dining area that opens to an outdoor entertainment area, and a swimming pool.
