The Block fans point out horrendous design fail in Kyle and Leslie’s living room reveal
Blockheads Kyle and Leslie got beat over a small detail during their reveal in the living room.
One fan called the couple’s design “cheap and tacky” because white curtains didn’t completely cover a black door frame.
Sunday’s reveal of the living room came after Kyle, 36, and Leslie, 34, knocked down a wall after judges criticized the space for being too small.
But the makeover left some fans on a Facebook group unimpressed as it appears the Western Australian couple failed to consider the impact of a ceiling shot.
This feature meant that the curtains, which hang from the edge of the ceiling, cannot form a perfect continuous line, leaving one black door frame visible.

‘The fact that the curtains can’t close all the way over the doorframe looks cheap and tacky. Such a shame,’ while another added: ‘You’re right. It shouldn’t look like this. The door frame should not be visible.’
“I agree, that would annoy me. I should do something about it,” said another.
However, one fan did offer a solution to Kyle and Leslie’s problem.
“Drop the curtain track so it fits under the bulkhead: a simple solution, cheap and effective, and it looks nice,” the fan suggested.
Another viewer suggested simply painting the exposed black door frame white.
It comes after The Block contestants Kristy and Brett made extraordinary allegations against other teams on the show.

On Wednesday morning, the pair appeared on KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren, where they claimed they were the only couple who didn’t cheat to get ahead throughout the show.
“We played absolutely fair,” Kristy told hosts Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips.
“I think the only houses that haven’t tried – well, other than planning to get the Mustang over the line – we’re the only team that hasn’t cheated.”
Kristy and Brett also claimed that all the teams acted against the rules, with Steph and Gian making Steph’s father work for them.
