The Block fans point out heartbreaking detail as Leah and Ash’s house remains unsold months after auction: ‘They’re probably dead now’
It was the popular property that failed to sell during the Block's dramatic auction in November.
Now, fans have taken to Reddit to point out a morbid detail about Leah and Ash's House 2 in Melbourne's Hampton East, which was sold for $2.9 million during the season finale.
Viewers have speculated that the goldfish the couple used to fill their front yard pond couldn't possibly have survived since the house was on the market.

This came after Leah and Ash showed the fish during the front garden and facade week which the couple won, winning a Ford Mustang Mach-E worth $80,000.
“There were no fish at the inspection so… yes,” said one fan.
“I'm pretty sure the neighborhood kitties would have made short work of it,” one fan wrote, while another commented: “Mate, those fish died within five minutes of throwing them in.”
Meanwhile, another Block viewer pointed out that it is unlikely the goldfish would survive due to the design of the pond.
“Add to that the fact that it was a shallow “pond” that was subject to huge temperature swings and had no plant cover to hide from predators,” the fan wrote.
'The best scenario is that they were just there for show for the inspection and were removed immediately afterwards. At worst, they were left there and are now definitely dead.”

It comes after headlines emerged this week that Leah and Ash are staying desperate to sell their beautiful five-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment, which failed to sell on The Block during the November finale.
The couple continued to struggle with no takers in sight after a buyer willing to pay $3.1 million for the Hampton East home backed out last month.
And now Yahoo lifestyle reports that interest in the opulent retro house has 'reached an all-time low'.
A source told the publication that the longer the house sits on the market, “the further away an end is in sight.”
“A Christmas miracle is needed at this stage if they want the house to be sold by 2023,” the insider claimed.

According to the report, House 2 is still on the market without any bids.
