For the third year in a row, quirky Melbourne millionaire Danny Wallis has bought a house on Channel Nine’s The Block.

And while some teams are grateful for his generosity, those whose assets the IT entrepreneur didn’t notice are less than impressed with his quirky antics.

Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra, whose renovation was up for auction, said The Block has become “the Danny Wallis show” in recent seasons.

And they’re not the only ones who believe Wallis has overstepped his welcome, with viewers flocking to Twitter to complain about his disrespectful and “sooky” behavior after he turned his back on Dylan and Jenny’s auctioneer for feeling belittled.

“The Block really is the Danny Wallis Show. If it wasn’t for Danny Wallis, none of those houses would have been sold,” Sharon said The Herald Sun.

“The first was between two guys bidding against each other and it was ego,” she added of the Omar and Oz winning auction, which pitted Wallis against Lamborghini-driving millionaire Adrian Portelli.

Dylan and Jenny were picked to finish last in the auction order by Tom and Sarah-Jane, who had won the power by scoring the most points throughout the season.

Much to their dismay, their auctioneer angered Damien Cooley Wallis by rejecting his $3.3 million bid because it was too far below the $4.08 million reserve price.

“You said you’d take anything before,” Wallis said when his offer was turned down.

“I said reasonable, and a respectable offer, and I don’t believe it is. I appreciate your offer, but it’s just too far from where we need it,” Mr. Cooley said.

Wallis, an experienced buyer on The Block, was then overheard by the people standing next to him saying that he ‘didn’t like’ Mr. Cooley and he was ‘ap***k’, turning his back on the respected auctioneer. .

Viewers criticized Wallis’ disrespectful behavior, with one calling him a “clown.”

“So I usually tune in to the finale of The Block to see the auctions. Who is the real clown bidding 33 cents? And now he has turned his back on the auctioneer. What a sooky la la,” they tweeted.

The Block auction turned out to be a bleak day for all but one, with two properties yet to be sold after they passed, while a third barely had any reserves.

Omar and Oz left with $1.6 million after Wallis entered a bidding war with their “millionaire friend” that forced him to buy the house for $5.6 million.

Wallis later admitted to spending “too much” on the property, acknowledging that the bidding war had been just a clash of egos.
