Block’s fans celebrated on Tuesday night when they saw builder Zak leave the show after a heated argument with newcomers Maddy and Charlotte.
The carpenter left the women in tears and accused them of laughing at him on national television after they admitted they found him too “intimidating” to talk to.
When they couldn’t come to an agreement, Zak told his builders to ‘pack the bags’ and left, leading to many X viewers criticising the craftsman for his response.
“Is this man really intimidating two young women when he himself is completely intimidating?” one person wrote.
“This is how women are treated by men VERY OFTEN. The only difference here is that there are cameras,” said another.
Someone else said that Zak “single-handedly ruined his own reputation on this show.”
“That builder Zak is everything that’s wrong with men who can’t communicate with a young woman,” wrote another viewer.
Other fans of the show celebrated his departure. One person said: ‘Can we all sing “hit the road Zak”?’

“Well done Zac,” wrote another, before adding: “The girls will be better off without you. People of Phillip Island be warned what this builder is like.”
Ny Breaking Australia has reached out to Zak for comment.
On Tuesday, builder Zak and his team from the Block left the construction site and left the show after a heated argument with newcomers Maddy and Charlotte Harry.
The sisters from Sydney flew in at the last minute to take over House One from Paige and Jesse Maguire after unexpectedly leaving the show last week.
But things quickly went wrong for Maddy, 24, and Charlotte, 22, who couldn’t agree with the builder who had been hand-picked by their predecessors.
The carpenter (pictured) left the women in tears and accused them of ‘s**t-canking’ him on national television when they confessed they found him too ‘intimidating’ to talk to.
Tempers have been running high between the two parties since the sisters arrived a few days ago, with them telling presenter Scott Cam that they found it ‘intimidating’ to deal with Zak.
The carpenter immediately attacked them, accusing them of ‘s**tcanning’ him on TV and designing the house behind his back with their own builder Jack.
Tensions reached a fever pitch when Zak complained about the gang’s ‘damned brothel’ where he worked in House One.
Charlotte tried to calm the trader down with solutions, but he was ignored as she appeared to dismiss him and turned to his subordinate Nathan.
“I’m trying to have direct conversations with you and you just turn around and talk to Nathan. That’s quite rude,” he said to Charlotte, who quickly burst into tears.
“It’s been happening since Monday. I asked you directly and you turned your body to talk to Nathan.”
When they couldn’t agree, Zak told his builders to “pack their bags” and stormed off, prompting a lot of viewers on X to criticize his behavior
Charlotte later admitted to producers that she and her sister Maddy often talk to Nathan about Zak, ‘because I find him more approachable’.
When the situation between Charlotte and Zak quickly escalated, the two decided to continue the conversation the next morning.
However, a night’s rest could not calm the tension between them. Zak continued to find it annoying that the girls called him ‘intimidating’.
When he claimed he was just being “blunt and to the point,” Maddy tried to make it clear that he was giving a negative impression.
“I’m sorry you can’t handle my tone,” he then said to Charlotte, who didn’t accept the lack of an apology, after which Zak left the show.
“We’re getting out of here. This team dynamic isn’t going to work, sorry guys,” he said, before telling his team to “clean up.”
“Is this man seriously trying to explain intimidation to two young women when he himself is completely intimidating?” someone wrote
He then stormed off while Maddy tried to politely end things by saying sorry, causing her to burst into tears and only apologize to Nathan.
“I think being kind makes a big difference,” Maddy told producers through tears after the argument.
“We’re not asking for the world, we’re just asking to be respected. I probably knew from the beginning that it wasn’t the best match.”
Maddy went on to say that she was sorry the situation had turned out the way it had, but she was also convinced that she couldn’t work with someone she felt “uncomfortable” talking to.
