The Block contestants furious over ‘secret clause’ that helps Brad and Kylie even after they fled the show

Contestants on The Block are reportedly furious over a ‘secret clause’ that will allow quitters Kylie and Brad Baker to keep some money despite quitting the show.

During Sunday night’s shocking episode, Kylie stormed off the set and said she was done, in the wake of the ‘flirtgate’ scandal involving her husband Brad and fellow contestant Mimi.

However, it has now emerged that there is a clause in the contestants’ contracts that allows them to keep profits from their properties at the upcoming auction despite their departure from the show – and others are said to be unhappy about it.

“If that property sells for more than the price and they didn’t attend the auction, most other participants think they shouldn’t be able to collect any of the money,” an insider said. Yahoo lifestyle.

Meanwhile, an anonymous participant revealed that Kylie and Brad left their property incomplete, which was then completed by their builders.

This participant argued that the couple should not be entitled to benefit from it.

“There was a lot more to be completed by Channel Nine after the couple left the show,” they stated.

“House Four was the least completed property and other builders completed it and made much of the remaining decisions. It seems unreasonable to not finish your house and still qualify for the same percentages.”

On Sunday, Kylie Baker’s journey on The Block came to an explosive end, with the hairstylist clashing spectacularly with the show’s judges, host Scott Cam and even her own team of tradies.

In recent weeks, Kylie and husband Brad saw their seven-year marriage implode on air when the Cairns-based trader told fellow contestant Mimi Belperio he would ‘follow’ her OnlyFans account if she had one.

In a dramatic build-up to the final round of judging on Sunday night, tensions reached boiling point when Kylie ordered her team to stop work just hours before the final reveal.

‘F**king, leave it all. I want everyone out, I’m not kidding,” she instructed, before telling Brad to get them out. TO GET. THEM. OUT. Tell them to leave! I don’t want their help.’

Left with no choice, Brad relayed her orders to their bewildered tradies, who reluctantly packed up and left.

The next day, when host Scott Cam shouted “tools down” for the final time, Kylie was noticeably absent from the celebration.

In an emotional confession to camera, she said she and Brad initially joined The Block for a “vacation,” adding, “We’re always working and we’re always parents.”

She revealed that unlike her husband, who runs a ‘very successful’ business, she lives pay check to pay check and was hoping to make some much-needed money from her time on the show.

After a grueling week, Kylie and Brad were criticized by the judges, who pointed out that their front garden was not yet finished.

Shaynna Blaze noted that the outdoor space “required more thought and planning,” while Marty Fox noted that it felt like they had “checked out.”

During the feedback, a tense conversation arose between Kylie and Scott Cam.

As the other contestants celebrated the week’s winners, Courtney and Grant, Kylie immediately stormed out, followed closely by Brad.

A frustrated Scott Cam tried to call them back, but Kylie threatened to “break the damn camera” if the crew continued to film her, and with her dramatic exit, Kylie sealed her promise to boycott auction day.

Baker split from her husband Brad on national television last week following his flirtatious comments to Mimi.
