The Block stars Brad and Kylie Baker’s relationship status has been revealed after their marriage was rocked by a shocking ‘flirtgate’ scandal.
The couple were involved in bombshell scenes on Monday with Kylie halting production after her husband Brad ‘flirted’ with their co-star Mimi Belperio.
Brad admitted making ‘inappropriate’ comments to Mimi, who is married to Kristian on the show, over drinks while his sleeping wife Kylie was within earshot.
Brad later said he believed his marriage was “done” and that he had “single-handedly destroyed my family” with his actions, after Kylie suddenly halted production.
A devastated Kylie apparently flew to Cairns to be with her and Brad’s four children after revealing how her husband told Mimi he would ‘follow her OnlyFans’.
Despite the drama leaving their marriage ‘in tatters’, Daily Mail Australia understands Brad and Kylie are still together and working on their relationship.
“Kylie and Brad have been working on their marriage for months,” a TV insider exclusively confirmed.
‘The Block shoot left their relationship in tatters and they had prepared for Australia to see what everyone was whispering about.’

“A lot of water has passed under the bridge and Kylie has chosen to stand by her husband,” a friend of Kylie’s continued.
“Brad and Kylie are together and that’s really all Australia needs to know.”
A source close to Kylie claims Brad has been caught in “disrespectful behavior” before, but says Kylie doesn’t have to share her reasons for forgiving her husband.
Mimi and Kristian, who are also still together, hinted that Kylie and Brad are working on things when they broke their silence on Channel Nine’s Upfronts on Thursday.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the newlyweds insisted there is no tension between them and Kylie and Brad, adding that they had seen the couple a week earlier, hinting at their relationship status.
‘There is no tension. We saw them last week and I talked to him. Yes. But there’s nothing wrong,’ Mimi said.
Meanwhile, an insider claimed the drama unfolding on screen was ‘highly edited’ and reminded viewers that the flirting scandal was filmed more than six months ago.
“What Australia has now seen is a version of what happened,” they continued.
‘It’s highly edited and before you judge everyone’s actions I think it’s fair to say there has been some TV magic, but more importantly the viewers need to know they are watching something that is six months old happened ago.’

Insiders also claimed that Kylie and Brad hoped the drama would be ‘toned down’ in the final edit for the sake of their four children, and were unaware of what would appear on screen.
“I don’t even think Kylie and Brad believed this storyline would be buried by producers, but for the sake of their children they hoped it would be toned down,” one person shared.
“However, there is not a single producer in this country who is going to cover up a storyline like this to save everyone from the embarrassment of that situation.”
A friend of the couple claimed that the situation was “poorly handled” and that Kylie and Brad should have seen a preview of the final edit before it aired publicly.
A source close to Nine also claimed there were behind-the-scenes concerns about duty of care, with cameras still rolling until 2am.
“This has been brewing for some time and everyone working on the show knew this would come to a head if their date went ahead late at night,” they claimed.
‘It is not without reason that there are cameramen who still film until 2am. It’s to capture moments like this.
‘Some crew members believed that creating an environment of drinking and late-night hangouts put the two participants in dangerous situations.
Despite Kylie (pictured) leaving the show and the drama leaving their marriage ‘in tatters’, Daily Mail Australia understands Brad and Kylie are still together
“A lot of people who worked on the show had the foresight that things would eventually happen.”
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.
On Monday night, Kylie left the production and apparently flew home to Cairns after hearing her husband ‘flirting’ with fellow contestant Mimi.
The drama started when Mimi and Brad got chatting while having a drink at his house while Kylie slept within earshot, with Brad admitting he had crossed a line with his comments.
‘I’ve made some pretty inappropriate comments. “I was flirting with Mimi…Kylie heard them, and understandably she’s quite upset,” he later explained.
During a subsequent phone debrief with her mother, Kylie revealed exactly what happened during the shocking conversation between her husband and Mimi.
‘Flirting, and talking very inappropriately. How many damn chances have I given him? Over and over,” she told her mother.
Kylie then revealed one of the devastating comments her husband made during the flirty conversation.
“Oh, you know I would follow your OnlyFans,” the electrician and plumber allegedly said to Mimi, within earshot of his “napping” wife.

She also claimed that Brad “whined” about her during the conversation, claiming it had “happened before.”
Kylie immediately left the show, with presenter Scott announcing her departure from the construction site the following morning, and she has not been seen since.
“We found her car, blocked the phone, all the signage… we did everything we could to locate her, but she hasn’t been seen,” he said.
Kylie left her car at 2.34pm that day, taking only her handbag, with Brad speculating that Kylie had returned to Cairns to be with their children.
A message recorded on Kylie’s Block-provided phone seemed to support his theory as she admitted her marriage was “on the rocks.”
“Okay, so I’m saying goodbye. I can’t appear on national television if my marriage breaks down. So I’m going home, and I can’t say I’m coming back,” she tearfully announced in the post.
‘You can talk to Brad about the details, but unfortunately I can’t do it anymore. Thank you for the opportunity and I’m sorry I can’t stay until the end, I’m just not strong enough anymore.’
When Brad later spoke to producers, he admitted that he believed his marriage was “done.”
‘I feel ashamed and sorry for other people who have to live with my choices. She is the last person I want to hurt – her or my children or my family. But I still managed it. There is no way this will go away or get better. It’s done,” Brad said.
“I’d almost say I single-handedly destroyed my family.”
Mimi and Kristian (pictured on Thursday), who are also still together, recently hinted that Kylie and Brad are still together when they shared how they spotted the couple a week ago
Mimi and her husband Kristian broke their silence on the scandal, telling Daily Mail Australia that flirting had taken place but said they had put the infidelity behind them.
“Our relationship is stronger than ever,” Kristian claimed when asked about the scandal involving his wife.
“The thing about the show is that everything we’ve done has happened in the past. We learned from everything we went through, and we are better for it,” Mimi added.
“So if it happens, it happened in the past. Yes. I don’t really care.’
“When I came out of The Block, I thought, ‘Okay, let’s think about our experience and what we learned from it,’” Mimi added.
