Channel Nine has released a hilarious new trailer for the upcoming season of popular home renovation series The Block.
The humorous teaser opens with presenter Scott Cam, 61, piloting a light plane with co-presenter Shelley Craft, 48, to the “paradise” island where the series is filmed.
“This is going to be the best season! This year I’m taking us in a completely new direction,” Cam tells her, as he lands the plane on a beautiful regional island.
“We’re in paradise. Welcome to Block Island!” he continued.
We then see Scott and Shelley walking around the scenic location as Cam explains that the contestants will get their own little slice of heaven on their doorstep as they build their homes.
The trailer then shows off some of the stunning scenery at the filming location of Phillip Island in regional Victoria, featuring beautiful natural landscapes, glistening sands and perfect blue skies.
A voiceover tells viewers what to expect in the upcoming season.
“An adventure that has been 20 years in the making. For the first time, The Block is pure paradise,” it begins.
