The Block star Jess Eva’s stark confession on auction day as she admits to peeing herself before selling her house: ‘The chafe was killing me’
Jess Eva and her partner Norm Hogan walked away with a tidy profit of $209,000 after their house on The Block went under the hammer in 2018.
And the Triple M Sydney radio host, 37, has now shared a grim story of the auction, revealing why she looked so uneasy throughout the process.
Ahead of the 2022 final, which will air on Nine on Sunday, Jess told Daily Mail Australia that she had wet herself earlier in the day and that it was ‘chafe killing me’.
The Block star Jess Eva (right, with her partner Norm Hogan) has shared a stark confession about her auction day four years ago, where she walked away with a profit of $209,000
As they got ready for the big day, Jess said she and Norm were jumping around to wind themselves up as she “weeded” herself.
“I got changed, I wasn’t dirty, but by the time we got to the auction, because you have to walk everywhere and you sweat, I was chafing,” she said.
“So when you saw me at the auction, it seemed like I was really concerned. Once we hit $50,000 I was fine, but all I really worried about was my chafe killing me.”

She said her worried look was appropriate for the stressful situation, but her “top priority” at the time was not how much money they would make.
“My top priority at the time was to find talcum powder and sweatpants,” she joked.
During the season finale of her season, Jess and Norm sold their apartment at auction for $2,859,000, earning them a profit of $209,000.

In 2020, she revealed that the couple had inflated their entire cash prize on swimming pools, gambling and “helping friends.”
She told Daily Mail Australia at the time that they originally had plans to become full-time property developers.
But things changed when they returned home and decided to deposit the money instead.

She made headlines last week when she shared the secrets behind her 20kg weight loss while attending the 2022 Australian Commercial Radio Awards.
The mother of two said improving her diet and following a regular exercise regime, including cycling with her kids, helped her slim down.
