Smug Elle Ferguson ‘responds to disastrous Block finale’ after she and fiancé Joel Patfull caused a stir by pulling out just two days from filming

The Block quitter Elle Ferguson has seemingly commented on the show’s finale, after she and her fiancé Joel Patfull were put into production for just two days.

The model and influencer, 37, took to Instagram on Monday to share a cryptic quote about the so-called “law of attraction.”

The law of attraction is a spiritual belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into one’s life.

‘LAW OF ATTRACTION. Your mind is a magnet. You think of blessings, you attract blessings, and when you think of problems, you attract problems,” the quote read.

“Always cultivate good thoughts and stay positive.”

Elle later shared a sponsored post referring to her “sense of freedom.”

‘Expressing my sense of freedom. The urge to experience everything unimpeded, to feel everything invigorated,” she captioned a video promoting YSL’s Libre fragrance.

In the video, Elle looked smug in an all-black outfit and sunglasses as she struck different poses and held a bottle of perfume.

At the start of the final season, the glamor couple Elle and Joel, 37, laid out tools that had only been in production for two days, stunning The Block’s cast and crew.

The couple said they were leaving because Joel’s mother Trish broke her neck in a fall at her Adelaide home.

But host Scott Cam doubted this, accusing them of fleeing the construction site in the middle of the night because the show wasn’t “on brand” for them.

He also said they had complained ‘the toilet paper was too scratchy’.

The blogger and her retired AFL player partner disputed this, insisting that they stop due to a legitimate family emergency.

All five homes went under the hammer in Gisborne on Saturday: One inexplicably sold for a $1.6 million blockbuster, another made just under $170,000, a third barely reached its reserve, and two homes came in without a sale.

Omar Slaimankhel and Ozman ‘Oz’ Abu Malik won the show, selling their home for $5,666,666 with a reserve of $4.08 million and walked away with $1.6 million in prize money.

Ryan and Rachel Carr came in second, selling their home for a profit of $169,000.

But there was also heartache for two couples, Ankur Dogra and Sharon Johal, and Jenny Heath and Dylan Adams, who failed to sell their homes at auction.

Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson didn’t fare much better, with their house making a profit of just $20,000, forcing them to sell their car to make up for lost income.
