She has been roasted for her fake Christmas trees over the years.
But Rebecca Judd has a good reason for refusing to add natural fir trees to her home during the holidays.
The AFL WAG said she was terrified pine trees would attract spiders when she asked for Christmas decoration recommendations via her Instagram page on Thursday.
“Recommendations for a really big Christmas tree company that will deliver to your home?” she wrote in a callout.
‘And then collect it after Christmas and dispose of it responsibly? I’ve never done a real one. Someone says they attract spiders,” she added with a scared emoji.

She reused the bare number tree for several years before shelving it when she moved into her $7.3 million home in Brighton, Melbourne.
Last year she chose a traditional and beautifully decorated artificial tree for the holidays, set up in the living room.

She revealed the stylish fir, which appeared to have white fake snow everywhere, on an Instagram reel.
“It’s that time of year,” she wrote. “Grateful for my healthy, happy, giant family (even though I seem to yell at them 90% of the time).”
Her tree featured large floral accents, pink, silver and gold baubles and small lights everywhere.

She had the same in 2020 and 2021, despite previously standing by her abstract tree, which was criticized for its lack of festive atmosphere.
In 2018, she told Nine Honey: “We have used it every year for the last four years and will use it again.”
Bec said she prefers “monotone trees”: an all-white or green tree that is then decorated with ornaments.
She has owned her ‘eco-friendly’ tree trunk since 2012 and previously boasted that it was made entirely from recycled materials.
