Americans are bracing for airport chaos on July 4, as millions of travelers descend on travel hubs across the country.

According to the TSA, as many as 32 million jetsetters are screened at airports between June 27 and July 8. But some passengers will almost certainly behave better than others.

In recent years, countless videos have gone viral showing shocking meltdowns at airports. This week, a drunken passenger sparked outrage after punching a black employee in a violent, racist attack.

In April of this year, a passenger was filmed cursing and yelling at airport staff at LAX after reportedly missing her flight.

“Put me on the next flight, you motherfuckers,” the woman is heard shouting before demanding to speak to Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.

Much to the amusement of the good-natured employees, she eventually discovers that she is at both the wrong terminal and the airline counter.

“I’m trying to get home to the girls!”

An accountant and his Louis Vuitton-wearing husband set the internet on fire in December 2023 when they were filmed crying in anger at a departure gate at Charlotte Douglas Airport in North Carolina.

In the middle of their tirade, they even swore at a woman in the wheelchair while accusing American Airlines staff of keeping them away from their dogs Shelby and Dolly.

“Think about your girls! You don’t care about the girls, you don’t care about the girls,” Thorne kept repeating, in a seemingly manic state.

A Karen strikes again!

In March of this year, a woman suffered a wild meltdown at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport after she was barred from an American Airlines flight for “staff abuse.”

The woman was seen on police bodycams berating officers and joking about their penis size and ‘mediocre’ pay. She then made a ‘wet’ mess on the terminal floor.

She claimed she had only consumed two “very full” vodka tonics at the airport bar, but that much of her speech was unintelligible and slurred during her chaotic arrest.

JetBlue’s check-in counter at Fort Lauderdale International Airport in Florida took a huge hit in 2019 when a 26-year-old woman verbally abused airline staff, calling an employee a rapist and claiming she was armed with a gun.

The woman was later arrested and taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

“Who wants a fight?”

A 280-pound, 6-foot-1 New York man caused a wild scene at an Orlando airport in 2022, where he was Tasered several times by police — and still refused to go downstairs.

The altercation escalated when the man got into a physical altercation with his wife and six-year-old daughter and had to be separated by security. He later assaulted an airline employee before being arrested and charged.

This is the moment an Alabama mother, who appears to have lost her children, speaks out to an innocent bystander at the Miami airport… and to the computers.

Police said the American Airlines passenger “became irate and began yelling” at an employee after her two children ran away without telling her. She then pulled a computer off the counter and threw it at the officer.

The woman was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials during the 2022 incident before being arrested and charged by local police.
