The Beckhams beamed for their public family reunion. So is this REALLY the end of the rift?

The front row of a fashion show is probably one of the most kissy-kissy places on Earth. A place where affection – even if it is completely insincere – is often fully expressed.

And yet that was conspicuously absent during Victoria Beckham’s inaugural show at Paris Fashion Week yesterday.

Lady Nicola backed off and was rewarded as father and son broke their embrace with what appeared to be Becks’ most dutiful greeting before sitting back down. There was no further interaction. The Beckham-Peltzes solemnly watched the show and filmed it on their phones as usual.

At the end of the day, they joined the applause. When Victoria finally appeared at the end of the show and wiped away a photogenic tear of triumph, she darted to the front row to give husband David a hug, and did the same for best friend, actress Eva Longoria.
