Channel Ten released a new trailer for dating show The Bachelors on Tuesday — and it looks set to be an outrageous season of drama and betrayal.

The trailer kicks off by showcasing the breathtaking bodies of the three bachelors: Jed McIntosh, 25, Thomas Malucelli, 35, and Felix Van Hofe, 27.

Jed, a drummer from Melbourne, says in a voiceover: ‘I need a confident woman who can accept my lifestyle. I am ready.’

Things then get more exciting as the trailer gives a glimpse of the infighting and drama between the women vying for the hearts of the singles.

During one of the rose ceremonies, a beautiful brunette tells Felix that she wants to share some important news with him.

A stunned Felix later confides to the other suitors that the woman is “seeing someone right now… in an open relationship.”

The promo degenerates into an intense catfight between two women, with one of them exhaling, “How can you not tell she’s a sociopath?”

Daily Mail Australia recently revealed that the upcoming three-star season of The Bachelor will not air until 2023.

Ten have called for the show to be postponed to early 2023 so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat, a source said last month.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the infighting and drama between the women vying for the hearts of the singles, but also highlights the romance on offer.

“How can you not tell she’s a sociopath?” calls one of the women

“I don’t see them running reality dating shows in a row and there are only 10 viewing weeks left… they’d rather hold onto it and give it the publicity it needs.”

The Real Love Boat eventually flopped in the ratings, becoming one of the worst-performing shows in recent free-to-air TV history.

The Bachelors premieres Monday, January 9 on 10 and 10 Play
