The Bachelors 2023: Ex-stars hit Tash Candyce for surprise return

The stars of the Bachelor franchise brutally beat ‘villain’ Tash Candyce when she returns to the show just two days after leaving it.

The Bachelors star Tash Candyce is facing criticism for returning to the Channel 10 show on Wednesday’s episode just two days after leaving.

Florence Moerenhout and Jake Ellis, who previously starred on Bachelor in Paradise, led the reaction in an interview with yahoo lifestyle.

The former believes the 31-year-old only returned for airtime, and not to win the heart of suitor Jed McIntosh, as she told producers.

Doubting that Jed was the love of Tash’s life, Florence speculated that it was the producers who urged her to return to the mansion.

She recounted how she was asked back during her time on The Bachelor, so she guessed the same thing happened this year with Tash.

Jake then revealed that he met the reality TV ‘villain’ a few years ago.

He met her several times during her old engagement to Michael Turnbull, who also starred on Bachelor in Paradise and the first season of The Bachelorette.

“What you’re seeing on TV is 100 percent who she is,” he said.

Jake said that he wanted to be on a reality show for five years, so he had read about the best ways to maximize screen time.

“I think he just read the ‘how to be the villain’ manual, and he’s playing it to perfection, so he’s getting a lot of airtime,” he said.

Despite his skepticism about her motives, Jake revealed that he was looking forward to seeing Tash’s future antics.

According to Tash, she returned to The Bachelors because she realized how much she missed Jed as soon as she got home.

“I want to surprise him… I want Jed back, and when I want something, I get it,” he said.

Whether their meeting ends well remains to be seen, with the action set to continue on Sunday night’s episode.

Despite a major shakeup and intriguing storylines, The Bachelors has struggled in ratings this year and is the latest in a string of flops for Channel 10.
