The Bachelorette star Angie Kent took to social media on Friday to share the exciting news that her ailing father Markos was on the road to recovery.
The reality star, 33, posted a photo of her beaming dad on a hospital couch with an IV tube and captioned it with some hopeful words.
“My daddy had his bone marrow transplant this week and I’m so proud of him,” she began.
“Grateful for every day and seeing my dad come back to the daddy I remember when I was a little girl.”

The reality star was understandably relieved when she took to Instagram earlier this year to express her concerns about the problems her family was having finding a bone marrow donor.
In July, Angie revealed to her fans that her father was undergoing chemotherapy for blood cancer.

I took things for granted. My father has started his chemo treatment for blood cancer,” she wrote.
“We’re playing the waiting game for a bone marrow donor so he can get his transplant. No matches have been found yet.
“My daddy had his bone marrow transplant this week and I’m so proud of him,” she began. ‘Grateful for every day and seeing my dad come back to the daddy I remember when I was a little girl’
‘All we have is faith and trust that the universe will provide a solution. I surrender to the highs and lows.’
She then asked her followers to pray for her ailing father.
