Jason Tartick and Kat Stickler have officially called it quits after six months of dating.
The couple took to their Instagram Stories on Saturday to share the news with their followers.
In a heartfelt statement, 35-year-old Bachelorette alum Tartick — who broke up with Bachelor star Kaitlyn Bristowe in August 2023 — confirmed the breakup and assured fans that the split was mutual and amicable. He also expressed his best wishes for the future of Stickler, 29.
“I’m sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together,” he wrote. “It’s fair to say that I love with all my heart and fall easily. Sometimes that works out in life, but sometimes it doesn’t. Not this time.’
TikTok sensation Stickler shared the news of her split in a candid video filmed from the comfort of her bed. “So with two back-to-back hurricanes, I obviously didn’t think it was the right thing to talk about my personal life, but many of you already guessed and yes, Jason and I have broken up,” she said. .

Stickler explained that the split was “amicable” and admitted that the relationship “just wasn’t working.”
Although she was reluctant to discuss the details, she acknowledged that sharing a relationship online also means its end.
“But I just wanted to tell you, and it’s not love wasted. I feel like sometimes it’s so easy to think that when a relationship ends, the love is wasted. But love is never wasted. So that’s all I have to say,” she concluded.
Jason ended his post by expressing his gratitude for Stickler, saying she brought him happiness and revealed parts of himself he didn’t know existed.
He also shared his appreciation for her daughter MK and recognized the special bond they formed.
“This chapter will be closed amicably and another chapter will open,” he added. “I’m rooting for her happiness and I’m rooting for mine too.”
Jason and Kat started dating in April after months of speculation.
As for Bristowe, she has since been romantically linked to Tayshia Adams’ ex-fiance Zac Clark since January.

Bristowe also recently shared that after her split from Jason in 2023, she went so far as to hold a “funeral service” and even a “fake funeral” to help process the split.
She opened up about the unusual way she dealt with it during a conversation with Amanda Hirsch on the latest episode of her Off the Vine podcast.
‘[I had a] small funeral service – like a fake funeral,” she spilled, adding, “I did it alone. I haven’t buried anything. It was all mental.”
She explained, “It’s more of a visual exercise and it’s to say goodbye and kind of be at peace with it. It changes something in the old brain. It really does something in your brain.’
