Dr. Matt Agnew has shared his heartbreak after saying goodbye to his beloved dog.
The former Bachelor star, 36, took to Instagram on Saturday to announce his heartbreaking loss as he shared his devastation.
He shared a series of adorable photos of himself cuddling with his beloved dog as he looked back fondly on their time together.
‘Good evening, girl. I will miss you,” he sweetly captioned the photo gallery.
Matt, who has often shared photos of his dogs on his social media, did not reveal the name or age of his beloved pet in the post.
His followers were quick to express their condolences in the comments section as they shared their sympathies with the reality TV star.

“Oh no, I’m so sorry for your loss,” one user wrote.
‘Last Saturday I lost my girl. 13 wonderful years with her. Absolutely heartbroken. Our doggos are our babies. We are so sorry for your loss,” another fan added.
Another follower simply said: ‘I love you.’
Matt rose to fame on The Bachelor in 2019 when he chose Chelsie McLeod over Abbie Chatfield in the final in a surprise decision.
Abbie was heartbroken by his choice at the time, but the pair have since built a close friendship and remain good friends.
Meanwhile, Matt and Chelsie split not long after the finale and he later confirmed he was dating comedian Gen Fricker, before revealing he was single.
Matt has also risen to fame through his close friendship with MasterChef Australia star Khanh Ong, and they regularly give insights into their bond on social media.
The pair are repeatedly hit with speculation about their friendship, but deny they are dating.

Last year they denied there was anything ‘sexual’ in their bond, speaking on the Feast podcast while discussing the rumours.
“It’s the lack of affection that straight men show other men that makes people assume there must be something sexual,” Matt said.
‘Everyone should feel comfortable enough in their sexuality that they don’t feel uncomfortable showing affection, men or women.
“There’s an arbitrary line in the sand – no, boys can’t show affection – which is stupid.”
Matt said the pair enjoy sharing a platonic hug as they are both single and need company.
‘People are very social beings. Hugs and hugs, which release dopamine and make you feel good,” he said.
‘Cuddles are important for everyone, women and men. That physical comfort and being able to feel safe. It’s something inherently human.’
Khanh, who is openly gay, explained how they have been friends for years and provide each other with companionship.

“The rumors are hilarious because he [Matt] is the most heterosexual cis-gendered man and I am clearly gay. We are friends and hang out,” he told Ny Breaking Australia in recent years.
“We offer each other something that I think we’re both missing and that’s just camaraderie.
“We have dinners, we talk about our careers and what we want to do next, and it’s just a sounding board where there’s no judgment and I think that’s a very healthy relationship.
“I think the funniest thing is that I could do this with a girlfriend and no one would expect me to go out with them.”
