The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is investigating two white high school students after video surfaced of them wearing blackface and making racist remarks.
The two students, who have not been identified, attend Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls and were not on campus when the video was filmed.

The two students, who have not been identified, were reportedly suspended from Saint Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia after video surfaced of them wearing blackface paint. They were not on campus when the video was shot.

Since then, the two girls have been disciplined, but the school has kept quiet about the punishment they received.
“We will not disclose finite details of individual disciplinary actions, but the level of behavior calls for a minimum of suspension and counseling and a maximum of expulsion,” said Kenneth A. Gavin, communications officer for the diocese. CNN.
Another girl in the video went to Franklin Towne Charter High School, which said in a statement that “the content of this video does not reflect the values and culture” and that any student involved in the video “has no place in our school.”
The Franklin Charter student was expelled for the incident.

Coco also claimed on Twitter that two students from a Catholic school were ‘suspended’, but were ‘allowed to go to their national cheerleaders in Florida with the school!’
Since the incident, the school said in a statement: “As a Catholic educational institution that seeks to educate women of faith and integrity, we view racism as a mortal sin. There is no place for it in our hearts and minds, there is no tolerance for such behavior at Saint Hubert’s.
“We are extremely disappointed to learn that anyone associated with Saint Hubert’s would act in such a manner, which is totally inconsistent with our values.”
The school and dioceses issued statements condemning the video and calling racism a ‘deadly sin’
The dioceses issued a similar statement.
The city branch of the NAACP also responded to the statement to CNN, saying it was “extremely discouraging to have to address this, especially during the celebration of Black History Month.”
“The video showing the heinous acts of white Archdiocese of Philadelphia students spray painting the face of a young black woman is totally unacceptable,” he continued. ‘[The video is] appalling, but it shows us the ongoing cycle of racism we are constantly fighting against.’
