The alleged murderer of Cash App founder Bob Lee stars in court

The tech director charged with the brutal murder of Cash App founder Bob Lee appeared all smiles in court β€” as a coroner’s report revealed the brutal details of the murder.

Nima Momeni, 38, beamed as he was escorted to the courtroom on Tuesday for his hearing for the April 4 murder of Lee, 43.

Momeni is accused of stabbing the entrepreneur several times with a kitchen knife near the western edge of the San Francisco Bay Bridge.

But the alleged killer’s hearing was postponed for a third time when his attorney, Paula Canny, told the judge she needed more time to prepare amid the victim’s autopsy, which revealed he had a mixture of had drugs and alcohol in his system when he was stabbed.

The arraignment was postponed to May 18 as Momeni prepares to plead not guilty.

Paramedics found Lee collapsed in front of an apartment building after he himself called 911 at around 2:36 a.m. on April 4.

Lee was “unconscious, without a pulse” and was gasping for breath when medics found him. Paramedics, who discovered two stab wounds in his chest and a third in his hip, placed a tube to aid breathing and performed CPR.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s autopsy revealed in graphic detail how Lee was found slumped outside an apartment building without a pulse before paramedics took him to the hospital.

He discovered he had a mixture of drugs and alcohol in his system when he was stabbed, including ketamine, cocaine, and alcohol.

During the desperate, hours-long attempt to save his life, medics performed several procedures to try to close the wounds and stop his bleeding before Lee was pronounced dead on an operating table at San Francisco General Hospital.

The autopsy also revealed traces of cocaethylene, which is produced when alcohol and cocaine are consumed, and the allergy medicine antihistamine levocetirizine.

Momeni's attorney, Paula Canny, told the judge she needed more time to prepare during the victim's autopsy and revealed he had a mixture of drugs and alcohol in his body when he was stabbed.

The medical examiner’s discovery of drugs in Lee’s system comes after claims that Lee was dating Momeni’s sister, Khazar, and that the couple had visited a drug dealer’s house the day before the murder.

It is also alleged that Momeni was concerned that his sister had taken drugs and had an argument with Lee hours before the stabbing.

Momeni is the elder brother of Khazar Momeni, known to her friends as Tina, who had a close friendship with Lee.

Surveillance footage after the stabbing showed Momeni stabbing Lee in his BMW after driving him to a remote part of the city in the early hours of April 4, prosecutors said.

However, they said the images were dark and difficult to distinguish.

But Momeni’s lawyer claims she’s not convinced by the surveillance footage she’s seen.

“He’s going to plead not guilty, and he’s going to deny the special charge and absolutely the plea will be innocent,” Paula Canny said after a hearing in April.

“I don’t think you see anything in the videos.”

Friends have alleged that Khazar was dating Lee despite being married to plastic surgeon Dino Elyassnia, and one alleged in a recent interview with The San Francisco standard that Khazar had a drug problem.

“She actually asked me to buy drugs with my money,” said Samira Kuduzovi, who was friends with her.

On the day of his murder, Lee and Khazar visited the home of a man who has a criminal record for dealing drugs, according to police sources.

It is unclear if they bought anything from him that day. A previously filed court motion says the trio “drank” at his home. The name of the man in question has not been mentioned.

The apparent connection to drugs echoes an earlier claim that Lee had an argument with Nima Momeni over Khazar hours before the stabbing.

Friends claimed that Nima was worried that his sister was involved in a bad mob and had been taking drugs.

According to the friends, Lee assured him she wasn’t.

Robert Canny, a lawyer who spoke on behalf of Khazar Momeni and her husband during her brother’s first trial, did not immediately respond to previous questions from DailyMail.com.

Authorities have not released further details about illegal substances involved in the case.

Canny, the lawyer representing Nima, previously suggested that the police had arrested the wrong person.

β€œIt looks like they think they have enough to make an arrest, but I haven’t seen it.

So, until I see it and analyze it, I’m going to say they made a mistake. There’s not enough [to hold him].
