That’s Amore Cheese Pty Ltd is issuing a recall of its burrata 125g.
The product is available from independent grocers in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland and an independent grocer in South Australia.
The recall is due to contamination with listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, newborns, the elderly and individuals with weakened immune systems.
The general population can also become ill from eating food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
That’s Amore Cheese Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of burrata 125g (above) in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia
Symptoms of eating the recalled food include fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck and confusion.
All consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
Customers must return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
