Social media has exploded after hilarious photos emerged online of a cat bearing identical resemblances to one of Jim Carrey’s famous characters.
It didn’t take long for social media users to discover the striking similarities between the cat’s dodgy pony and Carrey’s character in the 1994 movie Dumb and Dumber.
Carrey, 61, played the role of Lloyd Christmas in the hit 1994 film alongside Jeff Daniels, who was his equally goofy friend Harry Dunne.
The hilarious photos of the cat, wearing a bowl of whiskers, were posted online by Xander Tsai during the pandemic, but have only just been discovered.
Xander, from Changsha, Taiwan, uploaded the sweet photos to Facebook after learning the cat was up for adoption.

He posted the photos with the caption, “Not every cat can pull off this haircut!!”
A montage of photos featuring funny snaps of the cat staring straight at the camera received hilarious comments in the comments.
Several users posted pictures of Carrey, while others also saw similarities to Spock from Star Trek.
Some have even compared the cat’s haircut to Ringo Beatles legend Ringo Starr because of his haircut back in the day.
One user joked, “Even cats can have bad hair days.”
Meanwhile, a second added, “He looks like your mom when she offers to cut your hair.”
