Thanksgiving with the Trumps! Donald and ‘adopted son’ Elon Musk vibe to YMCA at Mar a Lago as Melania and Barron watch on… and everyone is saying the same thing
Donald Trump spent Thanksgiving enjoying the company of his family, celebrities and his new “adopted son” Elon Musk as they enjoyed his “YMCA” theme song at a holiday party at Mar-a-Lago.
Much of the Trump family was also at the party, with son Barron watching in amusement as his father and the new DOGE co-chairman attempted to do Trump’s signature dance to the Village People classic.
Elon brought families together and brought along his hot-headed mother Maye, who has passionately supported her son on television in recent weeks.
In another video, Musk was seen hobnobbing with Stallone, a newer fixture around the so-called “Winter White House.”
The Rocky icon compared the president-elect to the Founding Fathers, called him “the second George Washington” at a star-studded Mar-a-Lago party two weeks ago.
Also in attendance were wife Melania, daughter Tiffany, son Eric and Eric’s wife and RNC co-chair Lara Trump.
Elon seemed to be having a blast with his new “adopted family,” with social media pointing out what Trump has done in the past: he never seems to be leaving.
“I think the Donald adopted him,” one MAGA fan jokes upon seeing the videos.

Another wrote: ‘Elon now has a residence at Mar-a-Lago.’
A sharper commenter snapped: “Elon feels right at home. It looks like he even replaced Don Jr. at the table!’
One user couldn’t help but enjoy Barron’s amused face as he attempted to perform his father’s now iconic dance moves: “Barron says, “Okay, we’ve had enough of this song already, Dad.”
Trump has made several jokes since the election about how he can’t get rid of Musk, who became a key ally, fundraiser and organizer for the president’s successful campaign victory over Kamala Harris.
After the victory, Trump took part in the House Republican conference, delivering remarks during his visit to DC. Front and center of the gathering on Capitol Hill was the richest man in the world.
According to one person in the room, Trump, 78, joked to Republicans in the House of Representatives: “Elon won’t be going home.”
‘I can’t get rid of him. Until I don’t like him anymore,” the president-elect reportedly said.
Musk has been a near-permanent force at the center of the Trump transition since the ex-president won the 2024 election with significant campaign help from the businessman.

Trump’s granddaughter Kai has even called Musk “Uncle Elon.”
It comes after Trump announced that Musk will co-lead a new Department of Government Efficiency along with Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential candidate.
Trump said in his statement that it would pave the way for his administration to dismantle the “government bureaucracy” and that would be “potentially the Manhattan Project of our time.”
“We finally have a mandate to eliminate the mountain of stifling regulations that do not serve the greater good,” Musk wrote on Wednesday on X, which he also owns.
But the move has also drawn criticism because Musk’s companies have clashed with the agencies he now has to deal with directly.
Musk has joined Trump in calls with world leaders and has weighed in on personnel decisions as a member of the administration’s transition team.
Last week, Trump watched the launch of the SpaceX Starship over Texas on Tuesday, accompanied by top MAGA allies and his granddaughter Kai Trump.

The president-elect, 78, listened intently as the Tesla billionaire explained how his rockets worked before watching the largest of his fleet take off on the horizon.
The billionaire Tesla founder also joined the president-elect at a UFC event in New York City.
Trump and Musk joined opera singer Chris Macchio onstage to perform a bizarre rendition of God Bless America during a party at Mar-a-Lago just after the election.
The appearance came after Trump, accompanied by his billionaire First Buddy, flew to DC to speak in person with President Joe Biden.
Returning to a hero’s welcome at the ‘Winter White House’ last Wednesday, the duo made a surprise appearance at the A1Policy conference, joining Macchio as he belted out the patriotic classic. Musk appeared to mimic the lyrics.
