Narayana Health brings contact center to the cloud

Bangalore-based private hospital group Narayana Health has moved its contact centre to the cloud as part of its digital transformation.

According to a press release, the group has implemented a Genesys cloud solution to consolidate its existing contact center systems and handle more than 50,000 customer calls daily.

The group, which serves more than four million patients annually, needed a solution to “effectively manage a network of disparate partners operating on different systems.”

By moving to a cloud platform, they gained a unified view of all customer interactions and saw a significant average 15% reduction in handle times. The platform, which includes comprehensive analytics, predictive routing and reporting tools, provided insight into patient interactions and operational performance.

Narayana Health is now considering implementing a chatbot that will facilitate the connection between patients and care coordinators for more complex queries.
