According to court documents, Iman wants Teyana's allegations removed from the divorce filing.
Specifically, the hitmaker cited “cruel treatment” as the reason for the couple's divorce. The term is defined as “the intentional infliction of physical or mental pain … (which) reasonably justifies apprehension of danger to life, limb or health.”
However, Iman believes that the only ground should be an 'irreparable broken bond' and wants there to be no 'cruel treatment'.
Iman also claims that he has never been irresponsible in caring for their two daughters, despite Teyana's claims to the contrary.
It comes after claims Taylor is annoyed with Iman for leaking their ugly divorce to the public.
Sources said TMZ that when she filed for divorce last January, she used only their initials to protect their privacy and that of their children.
However, Iman allegedly blew their cover with a recent legal filing in which he used their full names, making them public.
They announced their separation on social media in September but maintained an appearance of cordiality, with Teyana even calling Iman her “bestie.”
However, it is now said that they no longer live together and only talk to each other about their daughters.

Tayana confirmed the news of her divorce in November after seven years of marriage.
In the legal documents, the White Men Can't Jump actress said the relationship was doomed by Shumpert's insecurity about their respective levels of fame and whether he was “good enough for her.”
Taylor accused Shumpert in court of “treating her cruelly and exhibiting extremely narcissistic behavior throughout most of their marriage.”
She said Shumpert “became increasingly angry” at her fame, and would grill her about it and provoke arguments via text messages, later saying he was sorry, in a toxic and repetitive cycle.
In confirming their divorce in September after seven years of marriage, Taylor said infidelity was not the cause of the breakup, but took a different approach in her divorce papers, saying Shumpert had cheated on her.
Taylor and Shumpert first met at a party in 2011 before becoming romantically involved in 2014. They got engaged in 2015 — the same year they welcomed daughter Junie — and exchanged vows in late 2016.
