Texas shooter on the loose after opening fire in downtown Dallas apartment building
Three people were injured in a shooting in downtown Dallas, Texas.
The gunman remains at large after he opened fire at the Continental apartment building on Commerce Street around 12:15 a.m. Thursday.
According to police, the condition of the victims is not yet known.
They were all taken to hospital for treatment.

Police say they have no information yet about the potential suspect.
A resident of the building told the Dallas Morning News She heard gunshots in the building just after noon.
The woman remembered hearing screams. She took cover in her closet and called 911.
“I had to get to safety, I was shaking so bad,” she said.
Police said the condition of the victims was not yet known. They were all taken to hospital for treatment.
‘My lease wasn’t actually supposed to expire until later this year, but I can tell you it expires today.
‘I don’t feel safe anymore.’
Dallas Police Lt. Tramese Jones released a brief statement Thursday afternoon confirming that an investigation is ongoing and ongoing.
More than 20 police units were called to the scene.
Jones said there is no further information about the shooter at this time and no possible motive has been mentioned.
