Texas Rangers fans go wild at watch party as incredible scenes show 20,000 fans celebrating from afar as their team wins the World Series for the first time ever

More than 20,000 Texas Rangers fans gathered at Globe Life Field to watch their favorite team win their first World Series on Wednesday night.

The Rangers were able to earn a 5-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks to clinch the series at 4-1 at Chase Field.

During the seventh inning, the broadcast switched to a camera from the viewing party taking place at Rangers Stadium in Texas, where fans could be seen jumping around excitedly after Corey Seager scored the first run of the ballgame.

Seager was able to reach home plate on a single to center field off catcher Mitch Garver’s bat, giving the Rangers the lead as the ball game reached the final innings.

Fans became even more excited when a late rally in the top of the ninth inning created an insurmountable lead that allowed them to lift the World Series trophy.

In addition to the video from the broadcast, several other videos emerged throughout the night showing the number of Rangers fans who attended the stadium viewing party for the monumental occasion.

Images and videos uploaded by fans and media in attendance throughout the evening showed how many fans filled the top two levels of the stands to watch the match on the large screens surrounding the stadium.

Local news reporter Peyton Yager uploaded a video to X of a huge line of fans that seemed to wrap around the stadium saying, ’30 minutes before the doors open. 90 minutes until the first ball. It looks like a home game here at @GlobeLifeField.

While the flawless thrill of hoisting the World Series trophy may be new to the Rangers faithful, it actually marks the fourth time in 13 years that manager Bruce Bochy has won the World Series.

Bochy came out of retirement to lead Texas to its historic championship victory in his first season as manager.

“I sat there in Nashville in an armchair and just enjoyed it,” the 68-year-old Bochy said after the game.
