Texas pharmacy worker FIRED after saying she was disappointed Donald Trump survived assassination attempt at rally: ‘Damn, they missed’
A Texas pharmacy technician has been fired after saying she was disappointed that Donald Trump’s shooter missed.
Christine DeShazo, who lives in Arlington, posted a message online just hours after the attack with the caption, “Damn, they missed.”
In another comment, she wrote “half America right now” above a cartoon of a dragon riding a rocket from the hit Disney film Mulan.
Guardian Pharmacy of Texas told DailyMail.com she no longer worked for the company.
In a statement, a spokesperson said: “The employee has been terminated and her personal views do not align with the beliefs of our company.”

DeShazo quickly received a lot of criticism online for her comments, with many people demanding that she be removed from her post.
One user wrote online: ‘Who would want to get their medication from a pharmacist who wants to wipe out more than half of the US? Fire this woman.’
A second said: ‘Jeez. If you go in for a prescription in a red hat, will they give you the wrong medication? Crazy,’ while a third added: ‘This person, packing your life-saving medication!’
This comes as several healthcare workers, nurses and others are being investigated or suspended for similar comments.
DailyMail.com reported this morning that a nurse at a major New York City hospital has been suspended after suggesting she was angry that Trump’s shooter missed.
She also shared this image from the famous Disney movie Mulan
DeShazo, of Arlington, Texas, could not be reached for comment by DailyMail.com
And throughout the day, the right-wing X account Libs on TikTok posted messages from people saying they were disappointed that the attack on the former president failed.
DeShazo made her comments in Facebook posts that have since been made private. DailyMail.com could not reach her for comment.
Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are expected to be impartial and not to grant favors to patients based on political affiliation, gender, ethnicity or other characteristics.
The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, which trains pharmacy technicians in the U.S., says online: “Pharmacy technicians must provide services with impartiality and fairness. They must not discriminate or show favoritism in the provision of pharmacy services.”
Receptionists are generally expected to be impartial towards the people they serve, especially in healthcare.
Anthony D’Esposito, Republican congressman for New York’s 4th congressional district on Long Island, said: “Encouraging violence in the wake of the attempted assassination of President Trump is abhorrent.
“We must send a clear message that this will not be tolerated, especially by those working in healthcare who take an oath to help and support all people.”
