A schoolgirl who shot her father as part of a pre-planned murder pact she made with her boyfriend has died after shooting herself in the head.
The 12-year-old girl died on September 22, two days after shooting her father, 38, in the stomach at their home in Weatherford, Texas.
He has since been released from hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, authorities said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy and assessed the cause of death and mode of death as suicide from a gunshot wound to the head.
Her father, who suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was recently released from hospital, is expected to recover.
“The second 12-year-old woman from Lufkin, who the sheriff’s investigators say was involved in planning the shooting, was taken into custody last week and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.”
