Texas A&M freshman wide receiver Micah Tease has been suspended indefinitely by the team after he was arrested Friday on drug charges.

Authorities in the Lone Star state discovered the 18-year-old was in possession of marijuana just a day before the Aggies began their 2023 season at home to New Mexico in an updated SEC.

Tease, who is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was carrying 4 to 400 grams of a controlled substance (edible), which is considered a second-degree misdemeanor in the eyes of the law.

He also possessed less than 60 grams of marijuana and will be charged separately for this offense, which is a misdemeanor according to Brazos County jail records.

Tease was released on bail Friday after posting $13,000 bail.
