Tesla security cameras reveal man’s shocking act after he was seen approaching vehicle on CCTV

A Tesla’s security camera captured the moment a man brutally slashed the rear tire in a seemingly random act of violence.

Syana Segura was shocked after discovering her Tesla Model Y had been brutally vandalized in July this year.

Segura, who lives in the Chicago suburb of Oak Forest, shared two views of the incident: one from her neighbor’s house and the other from her Tesla’s cameras.

Three men can be seen walking through the residential street, while one of them, dressed in all black, hangs around the vehicle.

Home surveillance shows him swinging down the driver’s side of the rear of the vehicle before quickly running away.

After making a cut in the rubber, he stabs it twice as he flees the scene – while his two henchmen also run around quickly.

Video footage from the vehicle shows the man in black pushing a large knife into the tire.

Segura shared the footage on her TikTok account, adding: “I got a notification that I had low tire pressure on my Tesla.

‘I came to neighbors who had images of vandalism. I love Tesla and their great security.”

It remains unclear whether Segura managed to track down the man or report him to the police. DailyMail.com has reached out to her for more information.

Since she shared the footage, it has been viewed nearly 500,000 times, with viewers sharing their disgust in comments about the incident.

One person commented, “Doesn’t he know there are seven cameras recording on the Model Y?”

Another added: “Why are they always attacking Teslas, duh, you know they have cameras everywhere.”

Tesla vehicles are equipped with Sentry Mode, which, when enabled, keeps the car’s onboard cameras and sensors enabled.

In February this year, a carjacker in California was caught by the security system and realized mid-burglary that he was being recorded.

You see the would-be thief suddenly realizing he’s being recorded by the Cybertruck, covering his face before trying to break in through the roof of the truck.

Despite the attempts, the thief doesn’t stand a chance thanks to the car’s ‘armored glass windows’, another security feature of the brand.
