There was a big brawl at the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance on Sunday night and Antonio Munoz was targeted by the gang.

The incident was caught on video and the group of teenagers are seen chasing the victim around the mall before knocking him to the ground and beating him up.

Maurice Hardy witnessed the attack and decided to intervene, pushing the teens away and yelling at them to leave the young boy alone.

Footage from the fight shows the swarm of teenagers chasing Munoz before one person grabs him by his hoodie and drags him to the ground.

The gang then surrounds the young boy and begins beating and kicking him as he lies on the ground.

“They pulled my jersey, dropped me on the floor and started kicking my leg and everywhere they could,” Munoz recalled. Fox11.

Hardy then decides to jump into the crowd and pushes the group away yelling at them to leave the area.

“While I was running upstairs I just saw a crowd,” he told the local television station KTL.

‘I didn’t know how many children. I just jumped in and started pushing them away.

“I have two little brothers and when I see something like this happen I want someone to help them.

“So I thought, ‘I have to help them.’ I don’t like bullies. I don’t like that kind of thing.”

He led the boy to safety, but he doesn’t feel he did anything special and hopes others would make a similar choice.

“I don’t feel like I’m a hero. It just feels like something I would do,” he added.

“It has always been my instinct to protect. So I just jumped in and got to work.”

But Munoz told Hardy he was a “real hero,” saying, “I’m glad you were there.”

The teenager was bleeding from his nose and his eyes were filled with tears after the incident.

He revealed that he was there to watch a movie with his brother when the big brawl broke out.

“There were a lot of people jumping on other people and me and my brother saw that, so we wanted to get out of there and then they started attacking my brother and they hit him,” added Munoz.

Brynner Cardona was at the mall separately and was also attacked.

“They just walked up to me and asked where you’re from,” he said.

“Then they said things about my backpack and said ‘that’s a nice backpack’ and then I just saw a whole bunch of fists hitting me.

A clip of the incident went viral on social media and Hardy has revealed that he received free jujitsu training from a local school.
