A terrifying video shows the moment a workers’ platform swings uncontrollably into the side of a Dubai skyscraper, shattering windows and sending giant shards of glass falling onto the street hundreds of meters below.
Workers dangle hundreds of feet in the air and hold on to the sides of their small cage as it flies away when stormy weather suddenly strikes, the footage shows.
Strong winds cause the cradle, which hangs over the side of a towering glass skyscraper, to swing out of control.
It spins and flies back and forth for several meters, its force crashing into the building, causing large portions of the side of the building to collapse.
You can hear the sound of shattering glass as the crib crashes into it, ricochets, and then crashes back into the building, sending even more glass onto the ground.

The nail-biting incident, filmed from another high-rise building, appears to continue for some time as those on board hang on for their lives.
One stands up and clings to the edges of the metal basket, while another appears to crouch as he braces for impact.
Tom Lewis, the Dubai-based TikToker who shared the shocking clip, captioned it “never ready for a storm in Dubai.”
Loud gusts of wind can be heard blowing around the tall buildings as the grim weather hits.
The clip was filmed from a balcony, with the person filming it appearing to go back inside as the carnage continued to unfold.
It is not known how the incident ended and whether the workers were able to get out of the precarious position safely.
