Terrifying moment when a gunman opens fire on Boston Street in broad daylight
Horrifying footage showed the moment two gunmen opened fire on a Boston street as children ran away in fear.
The chaotic scene erupted on a sidewalk in Roxbury, where bystanders went about their day, until an unidentified man in a red hoodie and black pants opened fire around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Several people were seen scrambling away from the path of bullets, including a little girl, while another unknown gunman in a brown hoodie fired back.
According to police, about 20 bullets were fired on the sidewalk where several businesses are housed Boston 25 News.
No injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.

The shooting was one of several in the city that shocked locals. Another gunman opened fire Tuesday while in the middle of an intersection near Gallivan Boulevard, the news outlet said.
But the violence began on Monday when Haverhill pastor Danny Mayers, 33, was shot dead outside Frederick Middle School.
It’s unclear if Mayers was the target, but police found him shot in a car.
The open investigations led Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox to speak on Thursday about the rapid rise in crime.
“We’re here and we care,” Cox said WHDH. βFrom our perspective, people need to understand that this is a safe city. We can be safer with the help of the public.’
Officials also claimed on Thursday that there have been shootings in the city this year, but the number of victims has increased, according to NBC Boston.
To curb the rising number of shootings, officials plan to allocate $19 million to drive people away from crime by offering summer jobs and colluding against illegal activities, such as illegal ATVs.

In addition to fighting crime, Cox has spent the past year working strategically on police reform.
According to the police website, the reforms are aimed at community involvement, trust, transparency and improving all aspects of policing.
Cox has emphasized proactive outreach and worked to provide safety resources for the LGBTQ+ community when faced with threats.
Other police reforms include diversifying the workforce by hiring more Black, Native, and Colored people.
